I graduated from Law School in 2008. During law school I worked as a legal assistant at a small real estate and business law firm. After graduation, I practiced as a civil litigator. I am now employed at a Boston based real estate development company and specialize in retail leasing.

I have been practicing real estate law for over 30 years. I joined Kushner Sanders Ravinal LLP as of counsel about four years ago after spending 18 years as a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP in Boston. My experience includes representing owners, sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, lenders and developers of commercial and residential real estate.

After 20 years as a real estate partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart and Burns & Levinson, Steve Charlip now provides high-end, sophisticated real estate legal servicesat billable rates substantially less than the large Boston firms. Steve Charlip specializes in all facets of real estate law - acquisitions, financing, development, leasing, dispositions, permitting, financing - for all types of real estate: office, industrial, R&D, retail, multi-family and residential.

I am a sole pracitioner wtih fifteen years experience in general practice concentrating in civil litigation- particularly in collections/creditors' rights. I handle pre and post judgment collections cases involving consumer and business debt. I handle residential and commercial real estate- buying, selling and leasing. I also handle residential and commercial landlord/tenant matters and evictions.

I am an associate at Pabian & Russell, LLC, concentrating in the areas of immigration and corporate law. Received his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Chinese language and English from Union College in 2004. While at Villanova, I was the recipient of the 2008 Villanova University School of Law Dorothy Day Award for Community Service and was a founding member of the Philadelphia Immigration Raid Coalition. I also served as Vice-President and Secretary of the Pro Bono Society and participated in the Villanova Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic (FLAC). I am proficient in Mandarin Chinese and spent a semester studying in China at Nanjing Teachers University, and additionally studied international law at Beijing Normal University. I am admitted to practice before the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I am also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition.

My practice concentrates in real estate, corporate, trust and estate, and personal injury law. I possess extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions and condominium conversions, as well as corporate law, business formation, business mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and trust and estate matters.
